The $4000 BCAA Dry Grad Video Challenge
The British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA) is an active advocate against impaired driving. In an effort to spread the message to high school students to steer clear of it on their grad night, BCAA supports dry grad events across B.C. and the Yukon through the $4000 BCAA Dry Grad Video Challenge.
The Challenge gives Grade 12 students the opportunity to help raise funds for their dry grad events. What’s more, it encourages students to think outside the box about impaired driving laying a foundation for them to make responsible choices regarding alcohol, drugs and driving in the future.
During last year’s Challenge, BCAA received more than 50 videos from high schools across B.C. and the Yukon. And from their post-Challenge survey, BCAA learned 71 per cent of the 107 respondents consider themselves better informed about the dangers of impaired driving after participating in or showing support for our Challenge.
