This year the March for Life , which will take place on May 9th, has taken as its theme “End Female Gendercide.” A documentary published in 2012 has been making waves internationally and raising awareness of the plight of women and girls in India and China. The documentary is entitled “It’s a Girl.”
For the first time at PCS, grandparents attended the annual Grandfriends' Day festivities virtually, thanks to iPad and Skype.

For the first time (to our knowledge, anyway), some secondary students have taken it upon themselves to lead a small group devtion with their younger counterparts here at the elementary campus.
Mr. Bill Helmus, the elementary school principal, left for Zambia on Tuesday! This is a great opportunity for him to connect with the community and school that PCS has been supporting. As I write this, I have a little more packing to do, and at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning, I will join debaters from PCS and other schools on Vancouver Island for the long road to Trail, BC and the 2013 Law Foundation Cup, Provincial Debate Championship. read more
