Dear Parents:

Welcome to Pacific Christian School!

We are pleased that you have chosen to find out more about us.

Pacific Christian School was started in 1960 by a group of parents determined to provide their children with a quality education from a biblical perspective. Our vision is to “nurture students in Christ-like living, critical thinking and joyful service, to become effective members of the Christian community in God’s world.”

Registration in PCS is open to children of committed Christian parents who agree with the school’s religious and philosophical principles as expressed in the constitution and who are regularly attending a church. Parents and students are expected to demonstrate, by their lifestyles, their belief in Jesus Christ as Saviour, Lord and King.

Registration at Pacific Christian School normally follows these steps:

1. Complete a Student Registration Form for each child you would like to enrol. Attach a registration fee of $100.00 per family. ($75.00 if your child/ren attended the PCS Pre-school, balance of fee if registered in advance.)

2. Please return to either office:

  • The completed registration form(s)
  • The New Capital Levy Form
  • A copy of the birth certificate(s)
  • The registration fee
  • Copies of the most recent progress reports
  • The completed Legal Residency of Parents form
  • A pastor’s reference. (Your pastor may send the form directly to us if you prefer.)
  • A Parent/School Partnership Form (to be submitted at the time of your interview with the principal or designate).
3. Attend the New Parent Information Seminar.

4. An academic screening test will be administered to students in grades 2-12 to ensure that the school can meet individual needs.

5. After both parents/guardians have attended the New Parent Information Seminar, interviews will be conducted to determine eligibility for acceptance. When you come to the interview, please bring your completed Parent/School Partnership Form.

6. When a successful interview has been completed, your child(ren)’s name(s) will be put on the appropriate class list. You will be informed if they will be placed on a Wait List.
