Graduation Ceremony & Celebration

The year-end graduation ceremony and activities will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.

Important Dates:

June 13:	PCS Secondary Awards Evening at the Victoria CRC (church beside the school). This is an evening of awards and celebration to honour students who have excelled in athletic, academic, artistic & technical pursuits.
June ?:	There will be a mandatory rehearsal for all grads at Glad Tidings Church. It is very important that grads attend this rehearsal so that they understand how the ceremony will proceed. Parents do not need to attend the rehearsal. As soon as the date is scheduled it will be posted to the website.
June 27:	Grads assemble at Glad Tidings Church for the GRADUATION RECOGNITION CEREMONY. Start time yet to be set.

For the processional, many students choose to walk with a parent. Traditionally, most students choose the parent of the opposite sex. However, please note that this is just what ‘traditionally’ happens – it is NOT mandated by the school. The students may choose to walk alone or with another person of support in their lives.

Glad Tidings sent us the following note about parking:

As our lots are run by Robbins Parking and therefore used by many, we are not able to supply parking. Those attending the grad will have to arrive early in order to find parking in the area. Street parking on North Park is 2hrs. The Save-on-Foods Arena lot has paid parking as does the City of Victoria lot by Royal Athletic Park on Caledonia. Sands Funeral Home across the street on Quadra had a paid parking lot.

The Ceremony at Glad Tidings is a free event open to all supporters of the grads.
